Accessibility statement

4 Kids’ Smiles is committed to making its website accessible to everyone, in accordance with the European standard EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.2 level AA.

Compliance status

This website has been designed and developed to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. It has not yet undergone a full external audit, so it is considered partially compliant until that audit has taken place.

What we have put in place

• A clear heading structure and navigation areas, with a link to skip straight to the content.
• Full keyboard navigation, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
• Colour contrast that meets level AA for text and interface elements.
• Text alternatives for informative images.
• Animations that respect your device’s “reduce motion” setting, plus a button to turn them off across the whole site.
• Automatically scrolling content that can be paused.
• Forms with explicit labels and clear error messages.
• A website available in French, Dutch and English, with the language of each page correctly declared.
• A legible, friendly typeface (Parkinsans) and generous text sizes.

Known limitations

• The Members Only magazine page is a scanned image. Its content is summarised in text on the Press page.
• The video hosted on Vimeo relies on Vimeo’s player, whose accessibility is beyond our control.
